KCA starts journalism course

The prestigious Khalsa College Amritsar (KCA) has started a new course `Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC)’ at it campus from current, 2012-13 academic session. The admissions, said Principal of College Dr. Daljit Singh, are open for meritorious students.
 He said media is emerging as a major career choice for hundreds of young boys and girls and country needs trained and professional journalists in future due to the ever-growing print and electronic media houses. 
He said the College has received the required approval for degree from Guru Nanak Dev University. The College, he said, has the state of the art studio, camera equipments, editing rooms, computer labs, library for books on journalism and mass communication.
