Joshi invites industrial giants to invest in Punjab

Industry Minister of Punjab Mr. Anil Joshi today invites big Industrial houses of the country to invest in Punjab with an endeavor to make Punjab no 1 industrial state of the country.
Mr. Joshi has written a letter to the heads of some front runner industrial groups which included Mr Ratan Tata , Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Ajij Premji and Anand Mahindra inviting them to invest in the state and offered them full support to set up their ventures in the state. Mr Joshi said that the Akali Dal-BJP Government has established a world class infrastructure to attract the industrial investment.
He said that keeping in view the basic need of electricity for the industry, the Punjab Government has set up four Thermal Plants which would be functional in next six months. Besides that Punjab was the only state to have distinction of four International Airport , providing best air connectivity.
Seeking investment in the state, Mr. Joshi further  pointed out that Punjab Government has linked all its major cities with 4/6 lane roads. Along with this Punjab Government has also started Single window system which would provide all kind of sanctions required for industry within 30 days.
He said that with the inauguration of Integrated Check Post at Attari-Wagha   border, industrials would be able to export their products to Central Asia through road. He said that Punjab Government has set a target of Rs one lakh crore investment in Punjab and to achieve this target Punjab Government would ensure all kind of cooperation to investors.
