Aryans College of Engineering organises industrial visit

Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh organized an industrial visit in COCA COLA Plant, Kandhari Beverages Pvt Ltd, Nabipur, Fatehgarh Sahib. Around 100 students from Mechanical department participated in the industrial visit. Mr. Gursewak Singh, HR Manager interacted with the students during the visit and gave in depth insight of the various manufacturing concepts.

The students were divided into groups and each group was accompanied by an official from the company. The students visited various sub plants including Water Purification Plant, Mixture Plant, Bottle Manufacture Plant, Bottle Verification Plant and Syrup Plant. The purpose of the visit was to make students aware of the various practical aspects of manufacturing industry. Along with students faculty members Mrs Gunjeet Sidhu, Ms.Priyanka, Ms.Manvi and Mr.Sandeep Brar were also part of this visit.

Prof. A P Jain, Director, Aryans Group said that the visit was informative and helpful in providing real life exposure to students. He added that such industrial visits would enhance the practical knowledge of the students. The various concepts being taught in the classrooms get clarified after experiencing them physically in the industry itself.

Prof. B. S. Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group said that such visits would continue to be there for the students so that they can learn the concepts with a better approach. It provides a unique opportunity for students to gain an insight into a working environment related to a subject area.

He further said that this type of industrial visit is very beneficial for students from which they get to learn about many things. Such events should occur in every organization because these types of events enhance the basic knowledge of the students which helps in their future life. He further added that we are aiming to have these types of events in future also.
