Maruti Suzuki to organize Job Fair in Amritsar on Feb 7

CHANDIGARH, FEB 4

           Maruti Suzuki in collaboration with Punjab Technical Education Department is organizing a job fair in Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in  Amritsar on February 7.

Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson of the department said that during job fair, the company would conduct campus interviews of fitter, welder, machinist, motor mechanic, auto mobile, diesel mechanic, electrician, turner, C.E.O. production and manufacturing, tool & die maker and painter trades, in which more than 1000 pass out students would avail employment opportunity.

TWO MORE FILE NOMINATION FOR MOGA BY POLL

Two more candidates have filed their nominations for the Moga by poll, which is scheduled to be held on February 23.

A spokesperson of the CEO today said that Mr. Ravinder Singh Dhaliwal of Peoples Party of Punjab, Mr. Gurmail Singh Peoples Party of Punjab covering candidate and Mr. Rajinder Singh has filed their nominations as independent candidate.

JUSTICE GURDEV SINGH APPOINTED AS PRESIDENT OF COMMISSION

The Punjab Government has appointed Mr.Justice Gurdev Singh as president of Punjab State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
        Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that Mr. Justice Gurdev Singh has already assumed the charge of the chair. This post was vacant after the retirement of Justice (retd.)

Mr. S.N.Aggarwal. He further said that Mr.Justice Gurdev Singh
remained as a judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court and retired on 31.12.2011.
