Tejinder Kaur promoted as Special Secretary

Striding forward with firm footing from her humble background, Mrs. Tejinder Kaur scaled the pinnacle of her carrier as she has been promoted as Special Secretary in the Finance Department. Mrs. Tejinder Kaur earlier successfully discharged her duties in capacity of Secretary to Principal Secretary, Finance.

She started her career as Steno Typist in the Government of Punjab at Punjab Civil Secretariat in the year 1974 just after completing her academic studies. She efficiently discharged her duties in different positions as Junior Scale Steno Typist, Senior Scale Steno Typist, Personal Assistant, Private Secretary and Secretary to Ministers and other officials. She also got the opportunity to work with Chief Secretary, Punjab and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Mrs. Tejinder Kaur is also playing a leading role in employees’ association; ‘Punjab Secretariat Personnel Staff Association, Chandigarh.’ Presently, she is the President of this association. Mrs. Tejinder Kaur owes her success to her family, who always stand by her during all adversities.
