The
team from District Jalandhar bagged first prize in the 4th state level quiz
contest that was organized by education department Punjab at Manav
Mangal Smart School in district Ajitgarh.
Disclosing
thisan official spokesperson of education department said that school teams
from 22 districts of Punjab participated in this quiz contest. Quiz
was based on general knowledge of the subjects Math, English, Science and
Social Studies. District Jalandhar got the first prize whereas district Faridkot
and Kapurthala bagged second prize collectively and
district Amritsar and Gurdaspur jointly won the third prize.
The spokesman said that the prize money of Rs. 5100/-,
4100/- and 3100/- was given to the teams bagged first, second and third
position respectively. Mr. Kahan Singh Pannu Director General School Education
was the Chief Guest in this function. Mrs. Parampal Kaur Deputy State Project
Director and Mr. Vinod Kumar District Education Officer Ajitgarh were also
present in the occasion.
