Dr.SS Chhina who retired as Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Khalsa College
Amritsar (KCA), has been nominated as Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Guru Kashi
University, Talwandi Sabi, Bathinda. At present Dr.Chhina is working as Project
Director on `Economics of Organic Farming in Punjab’, awarded by
Indian Council of Social Sciences, New Delhi. Elated over the post, he said he would work to research and studies in the subject. Dr.Chhina had been a member of Senate, Syndicate and other University bodies and has authored number of books which have been prescribed in colleges and universities syllabus.
