California-based NRI and prominent businessman
Jessie Singh have offered total free treatment of the
eyes of the family of Village Rupana , Distt Mukatsar
whose all members have become partially blind. He said that
the family can go to the Charitable Hospital of Sankara
Foundation situated on Ludhiana- Ferozpur road at Vipul development
before Haveli and get the treatment free of cost.
Being Partner in Business with Sankara Eye Foundation,
Jessi Singh told that he has already conveyed the message to the hospital for
this purpose and not even a single penny will be charged from this family. He
said that the hospital provides free services to the poorest of the poor .
Mr Jessie Singh further said he was
very much perturbed after reading a news item in
The Tribune issue of April 27 about the plight of
this family who could not afford the treatment of their eyes
due to poverty .It was disclosed that all the family members
lost eye side one by one and became partially blind
during the last couple of years.
