The Punjab Governor and Administrator UT Chandigarh, Mr. Shivraj V. Patil,
today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former Prime
Minister of India, Mr I.K. Gujral, who breathed his last today at Madanta
Hospital, Gurgaon.
In a condolence message, Mr. Patil said
that Mr. Gujral was seasoned politician and good Administrator who strived for
the upliftment of the poor.
Mr. Patil expressed
his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family members and prayed to the
Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul.
