CHANDIGARH, NOV 27
Punjab Pavilion has bagged Bronze Medal out of all the States and Union Territories
for Excellence in Display at 32nd India International Trade Fair-2012.
Punjab has been also given special commendation Medal at the prize presentation
ceremony, held at Shakuntalam Theatre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
It was disclosed by the official spokesperson of the Punjab Government.
He said that the State Pavilion was adjudged by an Eminent Jury comprising
of members from all walks of life. The pavilion was adjudged on the basis
of creative display based on the theme “Skilling
India”. The award was received by Mr. K.
Shiva Prashad, Resident Commissioner, New
Delhi on behalf of Govt of Punjab from Mrs. D.
Purandeswari, Union Minister of States for Commerce and Industry.
