Students
of Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) displayed their talent in the Talent
Hunt programme and Fun Games conducting in the campus. Newly admitted
students spell bound the audience by exhibiting extraordinary talents.
Prof. D. C. Kataria “Roshan”, Vice- Chairman, Aryans Group inaugurated
the function by cutting the ribbon.
Various
Cultural activities were performed by students including Solo Song,
Solo Dance, Group Dance, Mimicry, Shero-Shayari, Poetry recitation,
Extempore and various kinds of dance performances. Fun Games including
Sack Race, Potato Race, 3Leg race, Tug of War was also conducted for
students. Freshers took part in all these activities and they considered
it as a good start to begin their new journey of life.
Dr.
Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that the group would always
welcome such gestures of the students and also encourage the students to
organize such events more frequently. He further added that such events
are necessary in the professional institutions as they instill
confidence and sense of responsibility in the students.
In
“Singing” Kajal and Malik of B.Tech, Navdeep of MBA were the winners
whereas in “Dance” Praveen, Rohit and Sheetal of B.Tech won the
competition , Ankit of B.Tech in “Poetry” whereas in “Extempore” Yusra
Mushtaq of B.tech(Civil) got the prize.
Also
present on the occasion were Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Treasurer; Dr. (Mrs.)
Parveen Kataria, Director General, Dr.Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans
College of Education, Dr P B Mahapatra, Director, Aryans College of
Engineering.
It
is worth mentioning that after the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab Sh.
Parkash Singh Badal & H.E. the Governor of Punjab and Administrator
Chandigarh, Sh. Shivraj V Patil awarded Aryans Group of Colleges for
Excellence in Education. Recently, His Excellency Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam,
former President has also awarded Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) for
“Excellence in Education.
Earlier
also Aryans Business School (ABS) has been ranked 48th in India by
Dainik Bhaskar. ABS has recently been awarded the Best Upcoming B-School
of North India by the renowned Magazine "Business and Management
Chronicle" and Dr. Kiran Bedi, 1st Woman IPS of India, has also awarded
ABS as the Best upcoming B-School of North India.
It
is to be mentioned that earlier also, Dr. Kiran Bedi, 1st Woman IPS of
India, has awarded ABS as the Best upcoming B-School of North India.
Many reputed personalities like Dr. Kiran Bedi, S.Joginder Singh
(Ex-Director, CBI) etc. have visited Aryans campus several times.

is worth mentioning that Aryans Group of Colleges is GMAT, GRE and XAT
allied college of this region also the college uses CAT and MAT scores
for admitting the candidates. The college has in its name the
prestigious membership of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of
Business’ (AACSB), USA. In India only 22 Business Schools are the
members of AACSB. The college is also having membership of CII, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CMA and AIMA.
To
expose the students to international education standards, employment
facilities and opportunities of education abroad Aryans Group has
entered into number of tie-ups / collaborations with foreign
institutions such as Outline System (USA); LMSE (London); AUPP
(Australia) & Fontys University (Netherland).

is to be mentioned that Established in 2007, Aryans campus is located
at Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20
acres pollution free campus. The group is running Management College,
Engineering College, Education College & Junior Science College (+1
