The Punjab government has decided to conduct written test for
the direct recruitment of 180 Junior Engineers on January 20..
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the
Irrigation Department said that eligible candidates have been asked to download
their Admit Cards for the Entrance test from C-DAC’s website http://recruitment.cdacmohali. in/. He said that out of 180 posts of JEs, 150 JEs would
be recruited in the Irrigation Department, whereas 30 posts of JEs would be
filled in Panchayati Raj. ‘‘The written test for the recruitment of these posts
would be held at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, SAS Nagar’’, he added.
He further said that the timing of the written test for the candidates of Civil
and Electrical trades would be 10.00 am to 12.30 pm, whereas candidates of the
Mechanical trade could take test at 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
It is worth mentioning that this test has earlier been
postponed due to departmental reasons. 150 posts of JEs would be filled in
Irrigation Department, out of which 120 JEs would be recruited from
Civil, 25 from Mechanical and 5 JEs from Electrical trades. On the other hand 30 posts of JEs to be filled
for Panchyati Raj would be from civil trade.
