Seven IAS and 19 PCS officers transferred in Punjab

        In an administrative shake up the Punjab Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal today approved the transfers and postings of seven IAS and 19 PCS officers in the public interest with immediate effect.

     Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that the Chief Minister cleared the file to this effect this evening. Among the seven transferred IAS officers Ms Isha has been transferred from SDM Jalandhar II and posted as Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, Mr Sumit Jarangal has been transferred from SDM Nakodar and posted as Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, Mr Varinder Kumar SDM Mansa has been transferred and posted as ADC Mansa, Mr Vipul Ujjawal SDM Jalalabad has been posted as ADC (Development) Fazilka, Mr Rambeer Singh SDM Bathinda has been transferred and posted as ADC (Development) Muktsar, Ms Kavita Singh who was available for posting has been posted  as Special Secretary Education and Ms Sonali Giri SDM Abohar has been posted as ADC Ferozepur.    

   Amongst the 19 transferred PCS officers Mr Iqbal Singh Sandhu SDM Jalandhar I has been given the additional charge of SDM Jalandhar II, Mr Jasbir Singh SDM Phillaur has been given additional charge of SDM Nakodar, Mr Sukhminder Singh SDM Jaito has been transferred and posted as SDM Pathankot, Mr Jasdeep Singh Aulakh SDM Baghapurana would now hold additional charge of DTO Faridkot in addition to his present assignment.

Likewise Mr Rajiv Verma SDM Budhlada would also hold additional charge as SDM Mansa, Ms Amarbeer Kaur Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) Mohali had been now posted as Estate Officer-2 GMADA Mohali, Mr GPS Sahota Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) Sangrur would be now SDM Sangrur while Ms Isha Singal Assistant Commissioner (General) Sangrur has been posted as Assistant Commissioner (General/Grievances) Sangrur, Mr Malwinder Singh Jaggi Special Secretary Technical Education would be now ADC Pathankot, Mr Rajesh Dhiman Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) Mohali has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner (General/ Grievances) Mohali, Mr Paramjeet Singh SDM Guru Har Sahai has been posted as SDM Jalaalabad, Mr Gurjit Singh (Retd.) SDM Ferozepur would now hold the additional charge of SDM Guru Har Sahai, Mr Gurmail Singh (Retd.) ADC Ferozepur has been transferred and posted as SDM Abohar, Mr OP Popli (Retd.) Special Secretary Freedom Fighter has been posted as Secretary Subordinate Services Selection (SSS) Board, Mr Daljeet Singh Secretary SSS Board having the additional charge of Additional Secretary Sports and Youth Services has been posted as Joint Director (Admn) Mandi Board with additional Charge of Deputy Director Colonization and Additional Secretary Sports and Youth Services, Mr Bhupinder Singh Secretary Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Ferozepur has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Municipal Corporation Amritsar, Mr Kuldeep Singh Land Acquisition Officer (LAC) Improvement Trust Ludhiana has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Municipal Corporation Phagwara in place of Mr SK Singla who has been now posted ADC Phagwara and Chairman Improvement Trust Phagwara. Meanwhile Mr Uma Shankar Commissioner Municipal Corporation Bathinda had been given additional charge of RTA Ferozepur.
