The
National Youth Week, dedicated to Swami Vivekanada’s 150th birth anniversary,
was celebrated at Khalsa College for Women (KCW). A number of academic competitions
were held.
KCW Principal, Dr. Sukhbir Kaur Mahal said that the programs were organized
by National Social Service (NSS) wing of the College and the youth were
motivated to work for secular ideals for nation-building and social upliftment.
In the essay writing competition, Navjot Kaur and Puja were declared first and in elocution, Puja got the first position. In Slogan-Writing, Sandeep was first. All the position holders including those who bagged second and third positions
received prizes and accolades from Dr. Mahal.
