Anmol Rattan sworn as additional judge of Punjab and Haryana HC

Mr. Amol Rattan Singh has been administered the oath as the Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court by Mr. A.K. Sikri, Hon'ble Chief Justice, Punjab and Haryana High Court here today in the court premises in a simple but impressive ceremony. With the elevation of Mr. Amol Rattan Singh, the strength of the Judges in High Court has become 43 against the Sanctioned Strength 68 Judges. Earlier, he was working as Additional Advocate General of Punjab.
Mr. Rattan started practice as advocate from the Punjab and Haryana High court in 1985. While speaking with the media persons, Mr. Amol Rattan Singh said that he would work with full sincerity and would ensure the delivery of justice to all the needy.
The prominent amongst other, who were present on the occasion included Mr. Rattan's father Mr. Manmohan Singh, mother Mrs. Surinder Kaur, wife Mrs. Nirupinder Kaur, sons Guragam Singh and Rehmat Singh, Mr. Ashok Aggrawal and Mr. Hawa Singh Hooda, Advocate Generals of Punjab and Haryana respectively, Justice (Retd.) Mr. H.S. Brar, Chief Commissioner, Gurdwara Elections, Mr. S.N. Aggrawal, Former Chairman, Punjab State Consumer Grievances Redressal Commission, High Court Bar Association's President Mr. K.S. Dhaliwal, Vice President Mr. Sapan Dhir, Secretary Mr. Ranjivan Singh besides the sitting and retired judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court.
