Relations Officers' Association today deeply mourned the sad demise of former
Assistant Public Relations Officer
Mr. Bansi Ram (64), who passed away here at PGI after a brief illness this
morning. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
The PR Association today convened
a condolence meeting and observed a two minute silence to pay last respects in
the memory of departed soul. The PR Association also prayed to the
Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the
bereaved family members, relatives and friends to bear this irreparable loss in
this hour of grief.
Meanwhile Mr. Bansi Ram was
cremated at Kharar this evening. Press Secretary to Punjab Chief
Minister Mr. Opinder Singh Lamba on behalf of PR Association attended the
cremation and paid tributes to the departed soul.
The Association paying homage to
Mr. Bansi Ram, the association recalled his outstanding services and describe
him a dedicated officer a fine human being and a hardcore profession.
