Efforts to get kabaddi included in Asiad and Olympics

“We are working relentlessly for getting the mother game of Punjabis, kabaddi introduced in Asiad and Olympics. The first step would be to introduce kabaddi in the national games.” It was stated by Mr. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, who has recently been elected as the Vice President of the Indian Olympics Committee (IOC).  Mr. Dhindsa was here at War Heroes Stadium to enjoy the Kabaddi matches.
Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka, President, Punjab Kabaddi Association (PKA) and Senior Vice President, Administrative Committee of 3rd World Cup Kabaddi-2012 gave his heartfelt wishes to Mr. Parminder Singh Dhindsa for his selection as the Vice Chairman of IOC. Mr. Maluka expressed hope that now Kabaddi could easily be elevated at the national and the international platform.
It was Mr. Parminder Singh Dhindsa’s first visit to Sangrur, after his election as Vice President of IOC. Apart from Mr. Maluka, Mr. Parkash Chand Garg, CPS and Mr. Paramjeet Singh SIdhwan, Senior Akali leader extended warm welcome and congratulation to the Finance Minster Mr. Dhindsa.
