Major Amardeep Singh, the secretary Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee has resigned from his post. He said, it was his moral duty to resign so that the new PCC president could constitute his team.
In a letter addressed to the newly appointed PCC president Partap Singh Bajwa, Major Amardeep said, “at the onset of you taking over the reins of the Congress Party in Punjab and keeping to the traditions
and ethos of this National party I feel my moral obligation to resign as Secretary, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, so that you could constitute your team”.
He added, “as a humble worker of the Congress I will be always available for any services for the party as and when required”.
