CHANDIGARH, OCT 22
The Punjab Government has decided
to conduct entrance test for the direct recruitment of 150 Junior Engineers in
Irrigation Department on November 18, 2012.
Disclosing this here today, an
official spokesperson of the irrigation department said that in pursuance of Punjab
Government’s directions, the Irrigation Department has uploaded the names of eligible
candidates on the C-DAC website. He said that eligible candidates must download
their Admit Cards from the website. He said that candidates must bring these
Admits cards with them for the entrance test.
The spokesperson further said that
the entrance test would be based on syllabus of Punjab State of Technical and
Industrial Training, being taught in the Diploma Colleges of the state. He said
that as no separate instructions are being issued by the department, so the
candidates, before coming to the examination centre, must carefully read the
instructions uploaded on the C-DAC’s website http://recruitment.cdacmohali. in/.
It is worth mentioning that the
irrigation department had sought applications to fill the 150 posts of JEs, out
of which 120 JEs would be recruited from civil, 25 from mechanical and 5 JEs
from electrical trade.
