Govt allows 4th counselling to fill vacant law course seats

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 17
The Punjab Government has allowed Punjabi University, Patiala to hold 4th counseling for filling up the vacant seats for 5 year B.A.LL.B/B.A.LL.B (honors) and 3 year LL.B/LL.B (honors) for the year 2012-13.
According to an official spokesman, the Punjabi University, Patiala has pointed out that colleges/institutes affiliated to it have 470 and 745 seats vacant in 5 year B.A.LL.B (honors) and 3 year B.A.LL.B (honors). Keeping in view the larger interest of the students wants to study law, the Punjab Education Minister Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka has approved the proposal thereby allowing the 4th Counseling for this purpose. It has been clarified that this permission should not be considered as precedent for future.
