The Punjab government has issued strict instructions to the
employees working in civil secretariat for the proper use of electronic
devises. In a letter to the departmental heads it has been asked to ensure the
proper implementation of the orders.
Disclosing this here today an official
spokesperson of the General Administration department said that offices located
at Civil Secretariat has been using room heaters in the rooms and corridors. At
many places the heaters are without plugs tops and many heaters are being run
on 5 Amp. Plugs. He said that all the departments have been instructed to use
heaters only on 15 Amp.
Plugs and not to keep the heaters on in case no one is
sitting in room. He said that all the departments have also been instructed to
switch off the heaters in the evening and keep them away from files to avoid
any fire.
