KCGC appoints Dr.Amarpal as Principal KCET

AMRITSAR, JANUARY 9
 Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) today appointed Dr.Amarpal Singh as Principal of Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET). Having the experience of 19 years in teaching in engineering, Dr. Amarpal Singh joined the duty in presence of KCGC Vice President
Charanjit Singh Chadha and honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina and other office-bearers.
 Chhina said Dr.Amarpal Singh would be an asset for the institution that had already been emerging as a major institute of engineering in the area. Dr.Amarpal who is Ph.D from Punjab Technical University (PTU) and did his M.Tech. from GN College of Engineering, Ludhiana and
B.Tech in Electronics from GNDU, was senior most Professor at Beant College of Engineering and Technology.
 ``I am happy tom serve the Khalsa Institute now’’, said he adding that his priority would be to start the M.Tech course in the KCET from the next session. After the joining, Mr. Chhina took the meeting of the staff in which KCET Director RP Singh Shukerchakia and Dr. Amarpal
Singh were present regarding strengthening of infrastructure and overall development of the College. Additional honourary secretary Sawinder Singh Kathunangal, Joint secretaries Gunbir Singh, Ajmer Singh Heir, Nirmal Singh, Sukhdev Singh Abdal. SS Mannan, Rabir Singh, Dr.HS Soch and Kartar Singh Gill were present.
