Govt schools students to get practical notebooks on subsidised rates

          Students of Government Schools studying from 6th to 10th class would get practical notebooks on subsidized rates in the state. Instructions in this regards have been issued.

          Disclosing this here today an official spokesman of the education department said that the Punjab Government has taken this step in ordered to save the students from the exploitation in the hands of private depot holders which have been selling practical note-books on high prices than the prescribed rates.

          He also said that now onwards practical note-book of          Rs. 190 would be available at to Rs. 50, similarly the note-book of Rs. 80 would be available at Rs. 39 and note-book of Rs. 60 could be excisable at Rs. 28. He said that the Government has accorded permission to the authorized agencies to print and sale these note-books he said that these note-books would strictly sold on Government approved rates by publishers.
