Eligible students aksed to registered themselves as voters

          The Punjab Education Department has appealed to the students of the state who have attained eighteen years of their age to enroll themselves in the voter list.

                   According to a spokesman of education department that in a letter issued to all the District Education Officers (DEOs) and other concerned authorities has been asked to motivate the students  to enroll in the voting list who have  accomplish the age of 18 years or going to complete 18 years on 1-1-2013. He further said that the main motive of this exercise is to involve the young brigade in the democratic process. The heads of the concerned institutions have been asked to ensure the enrollment of students in the voting list so they can exercise their right to vote and strengthen the democratic process.
