CHANDIGARH, JULY 11
Punjab Government today dissolved all Improvement Trusts in the state. Deputy Commissioners have been deputed administrator
at the districts headquarters where as SDMs have been given the charge of
dissolved Improvement Trust at the Sub Divisional Level.
It was disclosed by an official spokesman.
He said that the dissolved 28 Improvement Trust included: Abohar, Amritsar,
Jalandhar, Ludhiana Sangrur, Bathinda, Fazilka, Patiala, Phagwara, Fardikot,
Pathankot, Rajpura, Kartarpur, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Khanna, Nangal, Moga,
Kapurthala, Malerkotla, Nabha, Batala, Samana, Samana, Nawan Shahar, Barnala,
Roopnagar, Kotakpura and Tarn Taran.
