The Punjab Chief Minister, Mr. Parkash Singh
Badal, today expressed profound grief over the demise of Brig. J.S.Chandel,
father of Ms. Chander Suta Dogra, Chief of Bureau, The Hindu, Chandigarh, who
passed away after an illness.
Punjab Deputy Chief
Minister, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal has also condoled the untimely death of Brig.
Chandel. Meanwhile, Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram
Singh Majithia has expressed shock over the sad demise of Brig. Chandel, who
died after brief illness.
Expressing their
heartfelt sympathies with the members of bereaved family, they prayed to
Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members
to bear this irreparable loss.
