Aryans College of Education holds convocation

MOHALI, SEPT 2
Aryans College of Education, Chandigarh holds its Convocation at Aryans Campus, situated at village Nepra on Chandigarh Patiala highway. Dr.Jamshid Ali Khan, Dean of College Development Council was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Around 100 B.Ed (2010-11) students of Aryans were awarded degrees.
The convocation started with lightening of the lamp followed by the prayer. Dr. Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans college of Education presented the annual report of college. She read out the achievements of the college highlighting the quality education & placements by various schools.
While motivating the students, the Chief Guest Dr. Jamshid Ali Khan said that the students should acquire excellence in their chosen field to move forward in their lives and contribute to nation building. Dr. Khan also urged the students to step out of restricted thinking and explore the opportunities in the current global scenario.
Dr.Anshu Kataria congratulated the students and emphasized that young talents will have positive impact on the society in coming years. He further added that their degree will enable them to think, analyze and apply knowledge in their respective filed.
Dr. Manjula Kataria gave vote of thanks to the Chief Guest for sparing his valuable time to address, motivate and encourage the students. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group;Mr. B S Sidhu, Dean, Aryans Group;Dr. Jaswinder Singh, Vice Principal, Aryans College ; Ms Varinder Kaur, Coordinator and many others. At last the event ended up with the declaration of the closing of the Convocation followed by the National Anthem.
