          NDTV Senior Editor North Vikram Chowdhary was bereaved as he lost his mother Mrs. Daler Kaur (70), who passed away yesterday in a private hospital at Toronto in Canada after a prolonged illness. She is survived by her husband, two sons and a daughter.

          In a condolence message, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Mr. Chowdhary's mother. Mr. Badal prayed to the Almighty for giving strength to the bereaved family members, relatives and friends to bear this huge loss and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.

          Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal also condoled the demise of Mrs. Daler Kaur.

          In a condolence message, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.

Punjab Revenue & Information and Public Relations Minister  r. Bikram Singh Majithia today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Mrs. Daler Kaur (70).

        In a condolence message, Mr. Majithia shared his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give courage to bear this irreparable loss.
