CHANDIGARH, SEPT 8
The
Board of Directors meeting of The Punjab State Cooperative Development Fed.
Ltd. (PUNCOFED) was held today in
which Mr. Kulwinder Singh Kaka was elected as Chairman and Mr. Baldev Singh
Chakkal was elected Vice Chairman unopposed.
Speaking
on the occasion Mr. Kulwinder Singh Kaka thanked Mr. Parkash Singh
Badal, Chief
Minister Punjab and Mr. Sukhbir Singh
Badal, Deputy Chief Minister Punjab and said that he will strive hard
for the
job assigned to him in taking the schemes and policies run by
Cooperative
Department of Punjab Government at the door steps of villagers, efforts
will be
made to make the village level societies strong so that farmers may be
economically strong. Mr. Avtar Singh Vanwala OSD to Deputy Chief
Minister, Punjab was especially present on the occasion and said
that the Deputy Chief Minister has congratulated Mr.
Kulwinder Singh Kaka for
being elected as Chairman, Mr. Baldev Singh Chakkal as Vice Chairman and
Board
of Directors of Puncofed.
