Taking a revolutionary step in the field of education the Dena
Bank has decided to provide cheaper and easy education loans to the
students of famous educational institutions. In this direction the bank
to chalk out an Internal Study to identify such educational institutions
in which students will be given study loans on base and cheaper rate.
Under this project students of Aryans Group of College will also be
benefitted.
This was announced by General Manager (north) M K Sharma,
during a Cultural Programme ‘Rajni’ organised by Aryans Group of
Colleges in Punjab Kala Bhawan. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans
Group presided over the function. While talking to the media persons
Sharma, who was the chief guest on the occasion said at present with 56
branches the Dena Bank was providing financial assistance to the people
of Punjab Haryana Himachal and J&K. he added that annual business of
the Panchkula and Lucknow branches was estimated Rs 23000 crore.
Registering a growth of 25 per cent during the current financial year
the bank has planned to open 14 new branches, which also includes
Panchkula, Kharar and Rajpura branches. He further added that the bank
was also providing easy loans upto Rs one crore to encourage small and
medium industries to aware the people about the new schemes bank also
organizing awareness camps.
During the programme Chairman of Aryans
Group of College Dr Anshu Kataria also gave memorandum to the MK Sharma.
While accepting the memorandum MK Sharma assured to set up an ATM in
Aryans College and he also announced to open a branch of Dena Bank in
Rajpura. On this occasion Regional Manager of the Bank C S Meena,
Assistant General Manager Balvir singh were also present on the
occasion.
