Australian Trade Commission exploring trade opportunities in Northern Region

A meeting was held today at PHD Chamber with Mr Mike Moignard, Minister Commercial India, Australian Government who was in Chandigarh for exploring business opportunities between Australia and northern region. The delegation included Dr Grayson Perry, Australian Trade Commissioner and Mr Ankur Bhatia, Business Development Manager, Australian Trade Commission. Local Industry members interested in investment and exploring partnership opportunities in Australia were also present during the meeting.
The aim was to explore possibilities for trade in key sectors such as ICT, digital media, food processing, and advanced manufacturing, dairy, logistics etc, added Mike.
Mr Dalip Sharma, Regional Director, PHD Chamber expressed that a huge number of Punjabis are settled in Australia and it holds a lot of potential. Increased trade and investment will create more jobs and increase prosperity for hardworking Australians and Indians alike.”
