CHANDIGARH, OCT 18
The Punjab Chief Minister, Mr.
Parkash Singh Badal, today gave nod to the transfers and postings of three IAS
officers with immediate effect.
Disclosing this
here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that Special
Secretary Grievances & Pension Mr. SS Gurjar would now hold the charge of
Director State Transport, relieving Mr. Mandip Singh, IAS of this additional
charge. Additional Secretary Local Govt. Mr.
Adapa Karthik has been posted as Additional Excise &
Taxation Commissioner, Patiala against a vacant post.
Meanwhile, Mr. RK
Ganta, Secretary Higher Education & Languages and in addition Commissioner
NRI’s Affairs has now been given the additional charge of Secretary Punjab
State Scheduled Castes Commissioner reliving Mr. Pirthi Chand, IAS of this
additional charge.
