Sukhbir not to have any political appointees working for him

CHANDIGARH, OCT 23

          Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal has decided not to have any political appointees working with him in official capacity for time being

Respecting the overall thrust of all the rationale behind Deputy Chief Minister’s decision his political secretary Mr Paramjeet Singh Sidhwan and three officers on special duty (OSDs) Mr Charanjeet Singh Brar, Mr Avtar Singh and Mr Gurvinder Singh have tendered resignations from their respective posts.

On the recommendations of the Deputy Chief Minister, these resignations have been accepted by the Punjab Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal.

However, all four have assured the Deputy Chief Minister that they would continue to assist him in his political work as President of the Shiromani Akali Dal.
